Files
Common questions about uploading files, supported formats, and limits.
What file types can I upload?
PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, and SVG for images. MP4 for video. PDF and TXT for reference documents. TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2, and TTC for fonts. See Supported file types & limits for the full list.
What's the maximum video file size?
100 MB per MP4 file. Larger files are rejected at upload.
Why was my file rejected?
The file type is not supported (e.g., HEIC, AVIF, RAW, PSD), or the video exceeds 100 MB. Check Supported file types.
Can I upload PSD or Figma files?
PSD files are not supported. Figma frame exports are supported via the Kyoso plugin on the Figma marketplace. Direct .fig file upload is not available yet, but planned.
Are HEIC, AVIF, or RAW files supported?
No. Convert them to PNG, JPG, or WebP before uploading.
What does "ingesting" mean?
After a file uploads, Kyoso processes it before the agent can reference it. The status flow is: uploading → uploaded → ingesting → ingested. The agent can use the file once it reaches "ingested."
